Gold and silver became more expensive, prices hit new historic levels

Gold and silver prices in Pakistan have reached new highs in the country's history.


On Tuesday (January 3), gold prices rose by $9 to $1,833 per ounce in the international market.


The price of gold has also increased in the local market.


In the barter markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta, gold rose by Rs 500 per tola, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 428.


After the recent increase, the new price of gold per tola is Rs 1 lakh 87 thousand 700, while the new price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand 922.


On the other hand, silver prices also increased by Rs 50 to Rs 2150 per tola.
